Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Having a room and en suite was great, the kitchen well stocked and laid out. Being in the centre of the village was lively, too, - until the pub / restaurant had to celebrate some sports event and the next night offered an open sir rock concert in the street between the hostel and the pub. Both nights were ratger noisy for my liking.
Nice staff, very nice and clean rooms that re an excellent size and well priced.

Newly renovated facility in a great location, beautiful views of the nearby mountains, lovely sauna area and wine bar on the ground floor – highly recommend! 5 min from town centre/ lift, 3 min from bakery.
Amazing, amazing stay! Will definitely return to Hahnenklee because of our experience at this hostel. The room was wonderful: large, stylish and a really comfortable bed. We needed for nothing. The owner and his family were such warm and helpful people. They added to our experience being so GREAT. We loved sitting outside of the hostel at their little place "Marnie´s", enjoying beer and a bitter. :-)
