Excellent value in a 4-bed, ensuite dorm. Very clean and new and an ideal location for Essen, just a short walk from the main railway station and a few hundred metres from the bars, cafes and restaurants on Rüttenscheider Str.

Beautiful, artistic and comfortable furnishings. The bathrooms and kitchens are also nice and spacious. The building is very secure with locked doors and as for parking there are many slots available and free of charge.

Incredibly clean and well-kept hostel! Self check-in process is very simple, and everything is clearly sign-posted or told to you prior to check-in to minimise any confusion. My 6-person dorm room was spacious and didn’t feel crowded even when full, and had good facilities for all (individual reading light/USB per bed) to be comfortable. The windows also opened fully unlike in some accommodations, so the room stayed a pleasant temperature and we could get some fresh air in.
I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the shared bathrooms and showers were kept throughout my stay, as well as the kitchen/social areas.
The location was useful to get to a number of attractions, as well as to train stations if you’re heading a little further out. Supermarkets/cafes and restaurants are nearby while still being in a quiet street.

The best part of the room are defenetly curtains. There was no sight of the light during the night and morning. Thanks to that we were able to get some sleep.

After reading the reviews of this hotel, we didn't have high expectations but we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Yes, this is a budget hotel so there are no extra luxeries but we found it to be very good value for money. Room was spacious enough, beds were really good as I prefer them to be quite firm. Toilet and shower were small but they are inside the private room so that was no issue for us. Room was also clean and parking instructions clear.
It was a comfortable hotel, tho it lacks a lot of things. It stays that there is a desk in the room and it wasn't and that there is a terrace and it wasn't. The only terrace was common, outside the entrance. We stayed only for one night and it was OK. We wanted to stay for another night, but it was unavailable. We found another hotel in centrum of Duisburg that was cheaper and I might say, better. Beds were somehow comfortable. Perfect air-conditioning in a hot summer day.
This was a budget Hotel and for 50 euros for the night probably was good value for money for a back packer or someone on a budget. The single room served its purpose with plentiful supply of hot and cold water.

A totally different experience! A great location, host warm and welcoming and great to get a run through of everything beforehand. My boys loved the use of the paddle board, especially after such a hot day and relaxing up on top! The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay.
