It was cheap accommodation in Liberia. Small room but with A/C. There was small communal kitchen you could use (I just make coffee in the morning so can not say more about it). Ok for one or two nights in case there is nobody staying in the next room.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Lots to do there, tubing, climbing, hot springs. Good value for money- cheaper version than the big hacienda up the road, you can also access their tours. Pool bar swim up. Comfy beds.
This, by far, exceeded my expectations. It's a family-run hostel, and the hosts are so welcoming. The place is cutely decorated, very comfortable and conveniently located. What blew me away is the cleanliness though - I think this was the cleanest place I've ever stayed - and I don't mean just hostels. This was cleaner than the high-end hotels I've stayed at. I will definitely be returning.
Nice and helpful staff, who know a lot of activities to do in this area. They even provide a self made map with a lot of information about busses, activities and border crossing to Nicaragua. I liked the common area. The hostel is very safe and close to the bus terminal.
Unbelievable, the Staff is very friendly and definitely goes the extra mile for you. All our questions have been answered, we even got a driver which drove us to all the places we wanted to go. Also showed us the owner beautifull places only locals know off and made sure we got the best experience possible. The included breakfast is very tasty and made with much love, they also cook dinner if you want one. Definetly one of the best hostels I ever stayed in.
Great location in center of the village so easy access to everything. We enjoyed watching the soccer games that happened right by the hotel. Made us feel like part of the community. Pool was refreshing after a hot day since swimming in the ocean was not advised due to rip currents and undertows. Beach was great for long walks. Boat taxi cheap so easy to get to sites like Cerro Tortuguero for a hike. Strongly advise early morning canoe trip with Isaac. The hotel also does tours so easy to book with them. Favorite restaurants were Buddha and
