Such a chill Hostel. The pod-style bed was insanely comfortable, the room and bathrooms were always clean. The breakfast is basic (eggs and bread) but I loved the fresh juices and fruits.
The staff is soo lovely and helpful.

I stayed in a private room for three or four days. Of all of the hostels in which I’ve stayed in South America, the staff here is the most helpful. They also organize activities and the general vibe is great. Very social, but not a loud party hostel. I can’t think of anything bad to say about the hostel.

Awesome place! Really exceeded my expectations. I stayed 10 days and really didn’t want to leave. Amazing views, comfortable environment, very peaceful, excellent kitchen, beautiful cats, and mango trees.. so sometimes mangos for breakfast :)

My whole family, including my pets loved it! The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good. I really liked all the activities that can be done in the hotel (bonfire, hikes, enjoy the swimming pool, see the animals and plants in the hotel). I really recommend this place.

I don’t think we had the best experience at this stay, but I think we were unlucky. The things that were good about this hostel included:
- a really good French restaurant that did great breakfast and a nice bourginon 👌
- beautiful location and it was very peaceful
- lovely buildings, rooms and area with hammocks
- comfy mattresses
- nice outdoor showers
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
This is probably one of the best hostels I've ever been to!
The staff and the manager are just amazing. I had an issue with my bus to Bucaramanga and they went the extra mile to help me.
It's huge, with a good pool, a lot of space to do yoga, be alone, and/or social.
Super clean, very comfortable
Everything! The staff and owner are super friendly and helpful. All activities you can book with them. Hostel provide lockers for your valuables. Nice common area with hammocks. Great location- 2 mins walk from main square. I cannot say anything bad. Probably best option to stay in San Gil.
This was one of my best Hostel experiences in 6 weeks of traveling in Colombia. Jane and Felipe go above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay. I felt very welcome from the beginning. Their dogs are super sweet, too. Food is delicious. 100% recommend this place! :)
This is the perfect spot for a trip to San Gil. So central, right beside a great restaurant - Grigos. The staff are super helpful with tours. The hostel itself is spotless, a cosy feel to it and very spacious and safe. We had a very good fan in our room. Best hostel on our South American trip so far!
The owners are great hosts and will support with all questions. They will also support you to book your adventures with local companies, much cheaper than with tripadvisor and co.
Great location, city center and bus terminal (20 Min.) in walking distance. Fair price. Clean hostel, great breakfast
Amazing staff, Viviana, Wiltor and Diego were all really nice and helpful with organising activities and just in general. The activities organised through the hostel were with companies that had good safety standards so worth the money. The hostel is in a great location, is clean and great value for money. The amenities are really good and they organise events in the evenings which is great to get to know people, one of our favourite hostels in Columbia.
originally booked another hostel for the wrong dates and so glad we came here instead! the staff go above and beyond to help you out with anything. the jacuzzi is great and the garden has so many areas to hang out in, do yoga, chill, while still feeling like you can be in your own space in a hostel. very central and safe. amazing hot showers. best hostel in San Gil
One of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed in.
Staff so friendly and help you arrange all of your
activities / give you tips including for restaurants…make sure you try Gringo Mikes!
Hostel is located in a really safe area and very close to the centre.
Hostel is super clean and our private room was very comfortable.
Very friendly and social vibe.
Overall love this place and very sad to be leaving and wish we could stay longer!
I strongly recommend this place to every backpacker. It's a very social hostel, with great common areas, very welcoming and confortable. Rosalba and Daniela will directly make you feel at home and are always there to help you with any question you might have. I liked this place so much that I came back for another night after spending a few days more in the north of Santander. Thanks Rosalba and Daniela for your warm welcoming and for making me feel at home ! Definitively one of the best hostel I've been to !
- The location was great, next to “el mercado”
- We booked for a private room for 2 but were actually given a dorm for 6 people with bathroom all for ourselves (no other people would come during our stay), this was nice
- We were offered all the different activities from the hostel, which we didn’t make use of since we wanted to do some low-budget stuff on our own (worked out great)
- The “mercado” was just around the corner and was awesome
- The location was safe and tourist-friendly
