Had a lovely stay, particularly loved the 3 swimming pools with great views from the top pools. Our room had air con which was very quiet and kept us cool and stopped the room getting damp. Lots of self-guided walking options and also a guided waterfall tour which I enjoyed. The food was also great

Hostal Vista Verde is a stunning hostel with incredible views of the valley and the surrounding nature. It isn't far from the Pozo Azul (a beautiful 45 minute walk) but it is far from the main town of Minca so you will rely on the hostel for food which was okay. We enjoyed hanging out in the hammocks and watching the birds in the surrounding trees - we saw two type of toucans, loads of hummingbirds and could hear a pygmy owl hooting at night. Two nights was a good amount of time to stay given its remote location. You will need to take a moto taxi from the main square to reach Vista Verde but it was worth it.

This hostel doesn't put a foot wrong. The surroundings are beautiful, the rooms are comfy, the building itself is gorgeous and spotless, the food is excellent and served communally at a single large table. To make things even better, the prices are extremely reasonable.
You can hike there from Minca or Cuchilla San Lorenzo. Most people get here with moto taxis.

The location is amazing, you are 5 min walk from Minca which is super nice. And the staff is super cool. The place had a massive pool, but they needed to do some repairs cause the level was dropping so no fault to them.

Jorge is super nice receptionist, helps you at what he can. Room is basic but has enough outlets for phone charging, and mosquito nets. Close to the river where you can chill. Peaceful place 4 min walk to the village center. There's free place for bike parking.

I just loved this hostel. It was by far the best hostel we’ve stayed in South America on our 3 month trip. The room was amazing and felt like a luxurious hotel (we were in the private bedroom with a balcony). We have started to dread the free hostel breakfasts on our trip but this one was amazing as it wasn’t buffet style, we could order off the menu. The food and drinks prices were really reasonable considering you couldn’t buy your food from anywhere else! I would highly recommend adding this hostel to your Columbia itinerary.
Great location, really comfy beds. If you want a quiet place to relax and chill then this is the spot for you. It feels like you've rented a house, really enjoyed having the big kitchen. The wifi was great, and I was able to work during the day around the hostel and even from my bed.
Also the property has 4 mango trees, which comes with an unlimited amount of free mangos all day.
Great place with a great host, Pablo and adorable animals. One of the best hostels I've ever been. In the middle of the forest, just right at the river, location is amazing. Peacefull place with good food and a great atmosphere. I would love to come back!

Great hostel in the middle of Getsemani. We booked a private room which was quite pricey and did not have a window. However, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hostel as it is super new and clean and at a great location. Some of our fellow travellers said that some of the dorms are small and others are not.
