Hostal Encanto La Salada offers a peaceful getaway a bit removed from the center of Jardín, but mototaxis are available for convenient transportation. The room was comfortable, with a perfect shower, a lovely view of the mountains, and even a hammock to relax in.
The entrance features a café-restaurant, which seems to be run separately from the hostel itself. Upon arrival, it felt like stepping into someone’s home rather than a traditional hostel with a reception area, but Oscar, the host, was kind and welcoming. He provided helpful information via WhatsApp, which was appreciated.
One minor concern was the parking area, which had a sign stating that the hostel does not take responsibility for parked vehicles, something to keep in mind for guests arriving by car. However, the overall experience was great, especially for those looking to disconnect and enjoy the tranquility of nature. A short walk down the road leads to a fantastic trout restaurant, another highlight of the stay.
Jardín is a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for a relaxing retreat!

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The hostel offers excellent value for money. It is in the town, few minutes away walking from the main square. The rooms are double and when I was there I was the only person there so had privacy of a single room for the price of dormitory room.
The place is very clean and it has two very modern toilettes and showers (you can see that they were recently renovated). It is a small hostel so even though showers and toilettes are shared, I never had to wait for my turn to use one.
Wonderful stay here in beautiful Jardin! The owner very friendly, the room and kitchen/living areas all clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything you need. A great location - short walk into the main square - and felt very safe and secure. The accommodation felt like being at home. Highly recommend!

the Candileja is easily one of the best hostels I stayed in so far. Everything is spotless clean but the best are definitely Camilo and his wife. they are incredibly welcoming and always so helpful about what to do in and around Jardin. we enjoyed our stay enough to keep extending it day by day. The location is also perfect, right of the main square. If we were to come back, we would definitely stay at Candileja again. Thank you so much for everything.
Absolutely loved the town of Jardin. The hostel was in a great location to explore. Big common area and fantastic cooking facilities. Rooms were quiet, spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and other guests very nice.
