The bed was so comfy that I didn't want to get out, and the vibe was so great that I could chat with my roommates for hours. And the staff were so friendly that they made my trip really smooth. Especially Qiuqiu and Luogeng solved the critical difficulties I had as a foreigner traveling in China, and treated me like their friend. If I travel to Shanghai again, I will definitely choose this place without any hesitation.

good location. pretty close to People Square station. hot spots such as The Bund, Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, old town can be easily access by either walking or metro. Im not good at navigating but I still manage not to get lost during my stay even though I dont speak Chinese

The bed was cozy and had a locker and a good amount of shelving space, it also had usb and type c jack but I could’ve done with a normal plug aswell as I couldn’t charge my camera without it, it also has two lights and a great privacy blind. The lady working at the reception was really helpful with any questions or things I needed help with and did the washing machine QR code for me bc it didn’t work on my phone and let me pay her back.

it is just as the name reads, cozy. I pretty much loved everything about this place from its location to the friendly staff (especially the receptionists and custodial ladies), it’s 24 hour co-working space which I used every morning at about 5 AM, the two beds and bathroom in each room etc etc. I really love this place and will definitely be back and would also recommend it to friends and family. Also, I really enjoy the type of people it attracts mainly families and young introverts like myself.

Great service. Large room with 3-1 settee n coffee table n good size desk. Bath tub n shower. Good sound proofing so it's quiet, can't hear the neighbours or the busy street outside. Great location just off metro and short walk to Kerry Plaza and even Huaihai Lu. Breakfast included, great value for the location it's in.
It was the best hostel I've stayed in so far. It was very clean and the staff was always very helpful. The common area was an open space connected to the terrace and appeared very bright and inviting. I was lucky with my roommate, we got along very well and it made the stay really satisfactory.
I had an amazing stay at Dayin! The hostel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. But what really made my stay stand out was the incredible staff, particularly Roya, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported. Her kindness, knowledge, and enthusiasm made all the difference. The hostel's atmosphere was also great, with a cozy common area and an open bar that made it easy to meet new people. Highly recommended!
This is the best hostel that I have ever experienced in China! With quite a low cost you can get a good living condition in the big city Shanghai. I arrived at night and the court impressed me a lot, it was beautiful and people were relaxed in the court, the room was warm and well-I had a good sleep. the staff there were so friendly and helpful too me. Will get back here when I go to Shanghai again next time.
