When I read the reviews and looked at the pictures provided by the hotel it's self I was very excited about my experience at an eco lodge as it looked like the type of experience that would stand out from the rest of the other properties around.
The lodge sounded and looked welcoming with lots of big open spaces while providing a room with lots of light and clean, as for us the most important thing was to ensure we were staying in a clean room.
The online communication had been very pleasant and efficient which led us to believe this would be the case once we arrived.
Unfortunately, none of our expectations were met.

Everyone there was really friendly. They accommodated our very late check in without any dramas. Breakfast was good. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch. The hostel was really secure. It’s a good location, central to the town centre and you can walk to the beachfront.

The young guy at check in was very polite and let me check in early.
The bedrooms upstairs looked ok but the dorms in the basement are best avoided.

Really exceptional place. Perhaps the best accommodation I’ve had in South America. Beautiful garden really chill. Lovely bed and accommodation. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
It’s a bit of a walk from town and there aren’t many shops to buy supplies but it’s close to the beach so swings and roundabouts and Uber’s are cheap.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Lovely spacious clean comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Quiet area. Near beach, nice food and shops.
