Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location, on the river and a few minutes walk from the old city. On site parking was a plus, though above ground availability (which is free) is limited. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, though on the small size.
A large, clean room and bathroom in a great location. A short walk to the train station (5 to 10 minutes) on the banks of the river. It was a short walk across the bridge to the Old Town. Had a part view of the river and some of the Old Town monuments from my room.
The food at the on-site restaurant was also excellent!
I really needed a place to stay in Solothurn and other choices were not available at short notice. This hotel was available and I appreciated that. This hotel is in a great location and has the potential to be charming. It is very clean.
Location was perfect and the small wellness area was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and professional. Free outside parking (when available). Breakfast was not cheap but very nice.
