Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Stunning location, comfortable and accommodating staff.
Budget friendly hostel near Interlaken West. And few bus stops away from Interlaken OST. Room was clean. Kitchen has all amenities apart from the oven.
Overall it was a nice experience.
Ignore other reviews, if you are here for an authentic budget backpacking experience look no further. This hostel is in a beautiful classic building, has amazing friendly and fun staff who went out of their way to add to our trip, great late night vibes and the lobby is even home to a lovely big St Bernard named Kai.
I’ve never stayed at a Hostel before! My son, 14 and myself had a private room and although very $$ for a hostel, it was so much cheaper than other hotels. It honestly was perfect. The room was simple but had everything we needed and space. The breakfast was free and so good! Washing was $$$ but handy! I would definitely stay there again.
It was probably the cheapest hostel is a great location with a very eclectic atmosphere. Its hostel as well as a hotel I think. The building is definitely old so it has a lot of interesting character.
It's a backpacker's + bar concept, everything is well-organized, not chaotic. Close to main train station, closer to a bus station which gives you access to everywhere else using the bus. Cleanliness is top for a backpacker's, and the reception staff is very helpful if you need recommendation around the area. Self-help kitchen is well-equipped and there's plenty of locker in the room if you'd like to keep your thing safe. With the price tag, it is well worth it!
Great location, facilities are cleaned multiple times per day, great view from room and rooftop, staff speaks good English. This is the best hostel I have stayed in Europe!
Perhaps the cheapest youth hostel in Interlaken. You get what you pay for. Everything was perfect, the room was clean and also the sharing toilette and bad room. If you are hungry, just go down the stairs because it is a bar. And very close to the Interlaken West train station. After that, the supermarket and a lot of restaurants were nearby.
What I found maybe a bit annoying was the squeaking of the wooden floor (I think, because it is an old building).
one of the best hostels with the fabulous view from the room. neat and tidy, excellent location. the breakfast was quite worth the money.very nice staff and good service. the only downside was the bunk bed was extremely squeaky and it made noise even with a slightest movement , otherwise I had the best stay!
thank you

Amazing hostel, good location, very good host, incredible breakfast with view. You also have the possibility to do your laundry which is very practical for backpackers and you have a shared kitchen with cheap beers and sodas. The room is very big as well and you have a terrace with a very nice view.
