Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The host was very helpful with any issue I had.
Kitchen is very well stocked. Cabin was quiet and cosy.
Great location with an easy walk to town.
Lovely to sit on the front verandah and watch the mountains and the parasailors landing.
This hotel was in a great location for our stay. It is close to many great passes and the town has several attractive options for dining. Our host was very engaging and helpful, and we had a very pleasant evening and dinner at their patio restaurant.
The price was great and the location excellent for a stay in the mountains. As a budget hotel in Switzerland it is quite normal to share a bathroom (this is also clearly stated in the booking, so i dont understand the reviews which complain about this). The room is tidy and has everything one needs, even a balcony! And breakfast is generous.
Great location for our stop over during a driving tour of the Alps, close to some of the best mountain passes, Simplon, Grimsel, Furka etc.
I liked this Hotel for the warm friendly and relaxed atmosphere provided by the host and staff.
Nice comfortable room with good balcony view.
Good value.
If you stay in Fiesch you should stay in Hotel Schmitta. It’s a well maintained 70s - 80s classic sport hotel. They have a good restaurant onsite and breakfast at the first floor. For daytrips or a longer stay ! The owners are very nice, give you a warm welcome. We have stayed in a family room with bunk beds for the kids and they loved it. Bakery accross the road if you need to buy a lunch pack. We have done the Aletsch Glacier walking trip. Highly recommended and impressive - epic with a mountain guide
Great location, awesome view from the room balcony, very nice staff
