Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
It was a pleasant surprise. At first, I thought they were closed, but behind non translucent sliding doors a nice concoction of cultures and colors opened up. A bit of glorious past, but everything worked and was clean. A very pleasant surprise was the bicycle saferoom and the short walk to the city center, topped off with a good breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good beer at the restaurant from their own micro brewery. Very good breakfast starting at 7 am with excellent Swiss cheese and good bread. This is a hostel und thus you have to be prepared this is not a five star hotel. However, it is a very good place for staying one night. Quiet room with sufficient heating.
If you are looking for a simple room to pass a night and are limited in Budget, then this is the place to go. The apartment is very central in Biel and quiet. It is clean and even though does not have the best decorations, it is very ok
He was a really kind-hearted host. No one disturbed us during the stay, which was nice. There is a bit of a long walk to the main train station, but you can also choose a bus if you wish. Everything was in order at home, from oil, salt and sugar to the ironing board and iron. Microwave oven, stove, soap, towels, shampoo, everything was available. I would definitely choose it again for a budget-friendly holiday.
Great ambience with the beer garden just in front to the bedrooms. Excellent beers and food by the way!
Comfortable beds, pretty clean and.good showers/WC. There are electronic safes in the rooms.
Definitely an amazing place to stay in Biel, for every kind of traveller (solo, couples, friends, families with kids, etc).
It was close to the centre and was one of the cheapest options in Biel.
