Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location. Close to the lake and recreation park. About 5 minute drive from a grocery store and restaurants. The outdoor pool was a bonus for a quick swim right out the door.
I appreciated the spacious rooms..... lots of space!
The location (regarding dogs) is really good as there are green areas to walk your pets without the worry of noise and traffic.
Firm comfortable beds.
Very close to all your shopping needs, including Safeway.
It's a very nice hostel and in a great location. If the price was about ten percent cheaper I would stay longer but I am currently on a tight budget. The chap who runs it is very friendly and nice.
Single staff member. Strange man. No real common room facilities like a normal hostel. Paper thin walls so you hear everything happening in the building at all times. Door is always locked, so for check you need to call the staff member and wait for him to come unlock the door which is hard when you have no phone signal. Not very cheap either, barely cheaper than an actual hotel. Not worth it overall.
