Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location with awesome views from the garden and pub terrace. A few options for food (restaurant, pub or cafe) - all fairly serviceable. Very much a one night motel style stopover but better facilities than most. Handy, if expensive, general store.

Wished I would have stayed longer than one night. Sure, bunk beds are not for everyone, but the rest is worth some snoring roommates. The sauna with the river next to it to take a cold dip and the outdoor fireplace are awesome. Many fun people from around the globe to talk to, hence a great option if you are a solo traveler. Joel, the hostel keeper, is chill and friendly.

The hostel is in the wild nature. The room and the kitchen is clean and there is a sauna available. The most nice thing of the place is the nature around and the wild experience (no running water). Staff is nice and available in case of questions.

A true wilderness hostel- we loved the wood cabins, the river nearby, the wood-fired sauna, the fire-pit… it was the perfect vibe for being in the middle of the parkway. We rode our bikes from Banff (>120km) and and a river dunk/sauna warm-up combo basically got rid of our soreness.

Had a great stay here! Basic facilities but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay! The bedroom was cosy overnight and there was a nice living room/ kitchen area for us to hang out and eat in the evening. Very scenic location and there was even a wood burning sauna which we spent a lot of time in! Afterwards you could cool off in the river nearby. There was no shower but there was running water in the kitchen so we could brush our teeth. For a cheap, overnight stay it was perfect!

The property was in a great location & had good food choices as there is not a lot of food options close by. We had to change our plans due to a road closure & the manager & staff were incredibly flexible & helpful & went out of their way to assist us. I would highly recommend this hotel.
