Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Really nice quiet little Hostel. Rooms were better than alot of Hostels I have stayed in around the world. Staff were fantastic and had alot of little local tips for different places I could go to make the most of my stay there. Definitely will be choosing the Dancing Bear again next time my adventures take me back through Nelson

This is our second stay at the adventure hotel. It's a fun bright place with good sized roms with funky fresh decor. Beds are comfy and washrooms bright and clean. It's a bit like a hybrid hostel/ hotel experience so great for families/ couples or singles travelling alone wanting to meet new friends. Great location, friendly staff, and commons room for making your meals is something we are seeing more of in new or renovated hotels like this. Think Fernie Fox, or Dorothy motel in Banff.

The hostel is in a great location, it’s beautiful inside like a home. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. We stayed in the shared dorm, which was very clean and we loved the little seating area outside.
