Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
This hostel is in a great location with only a short walk to the shops. The gas station was also only a few hundred yards away. The hostel was clean and well organized, the kitchen/dining room was large and the cooking facilities were excellent.
Great hostel
The room was super basic but warm and comfy. The restaurant has a good menu and vibe. Its basically a youth hostel and nothing fancy, but good value considering most other accommodation in this high tourism area costs vastly more.
expensive for a hostel BUT cheap for the area, great location, good rooms, very clean, we had ensuite toilet & basin with shower next door to room also clean & modern. Recommend
Very well run hostel, extremely friendly staff, good food and drink in adjacent cafe. Not cheap for a hostel, but in the context of Lake Louise outstanding value.
This is a lovely hostel in a great location in Lake Louise and close to the Icefield Parkway. We had a room with a private bathroom so only shared the showers which were new and spotlessly clean. Kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of tables to sit at.
This is an amazing hostel with friendly staff. The kitchens are well stocked and spacious, restaurant is my favorite in Lake Louise. Great location and affordable option for the area.
Location is next to lovely bubbling stream. There is a campsite opposite and the hostel is just off the main highway, but the sound of the stream drowned out any noise.
The dormitory was clean, with bedding provided.
Electric lights were in all rooms and there was WiFi for an hour in the evening.
Kitchen had all the utensils and facilities we required. Two gas stoves & two fridges.
Toilets are pit toilets as expected, but kept nice and clean. No specific washing area provided, so a splash in the stream freshened us up.
We really liked the place where the hostel is situated. Near some beautiful lakes, high mountains and wild creek, which could serve as a cool down after sauna session. The place with its common room, kitchen and fireplace is designated for meeting some new people, which is adventurous and entertaining.
