Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent internet connection for those of us who need to stay connected. Very close to the diving facilities and the bars on the beaches.
My private room had a large covered balcony with a hammock overlooking the water. I spent a lot of time there. It is the only hostel on the water in San Pedro. The room itself was fine; the bed comfortable (it's a bunk bed -- the bottom is a double & the top a single), but the balcony's the thing in this room.
The manager Jose was a real friendly guy, went out of his way to help us with booking things, and using his personal phone to try and sort problems we had with independently sourced trips.
Lucinda the owner, was a sweet caring soul, who was instantly likeable.
A fully equipped kitchenette and fridge, made it easy to have a good breakfast before exploring.
Don't hesitate to book, the Budget in the title makes it sound cheaper than it actually is.
Ace, big comfy beds as well.
Great Value for Money.
Great hotel with absolutely amazing pool. The beds are comfy. Room size is perfect for families. The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to cook and safe some money on eating outdoors (restaurants around the hotel are not cheap).
the staff was incredible and truly felt a great vibe and kindness amongst all who stayed there. the bed was cozy and the ac was super helpful during the nights! Surprisingly comfortable for a hostel, great location around all the main bars and restaurants and the center of the island. Very respectable guests as well! highly recommend staying here!
