A traditional colonial-style hotel with a lovely atmosphere in a great location in downtown Ouro Preto. Excellent indoor pool and hot tub, a well-equipped fitness room with a view and a great small massage studio. The bar at street-level is a great place to sit in the evenings, and the buffet breakfast in the mornings offers a wide selection of regional dishes.

Very nice hostel almost in the center and the old town (very short walking distance). Guys that are working there doesn't speak English (like almost nobody in Brasil) but they are very welcoming and friendly and communication goes easily.
The first thing that catches your attention is the receptiveness of the hosts, they make you feel at ease and give lots of tips about the city and restaurants. The room was extremely tidy and fragrant. Bathrooms were all clean and fragrant too. This Hostel is different, you feel at home. Not to mention that it is close to the main tourist attractions.
