Park Golf Hostel Ipelandia, hotel in Foz do Iguaçu

In a beautiful park by a river, this hostel is 3.7 mi from Foz do Iguaçu Falls, offering a fruit tree garden, pool and mini golf. Wi-Fi is free.

It was very worth it to stay here! The owner and staff were so kind and thoughtful and they made all the difference in our experience. When we had to leave early for the airport at 4am, they called us a taxi and were thoughtful to pack us a breakfast without us saying anything. When we carried in food, they took the initiative to prepare and wash the dishes for us before and after our meals even though it was a self-service kitchen. The place was wonderful, it had a resort feel, a pool, it was quiet at night for light sleepers and in the morning you could hear birds in the tree and can do some bird watching. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, you had freshly made scrambled eggs, free flow of bread, fruits, cake, tea, ham, cheese, milk, coffee, etc. The room was nice, bed was comfortable, firm, hot shower and air conditioning worked well. The location is also very near both the airport and the iguaçu falls and it was easy and convenient for the uber to find the location. It is also safe and secure, there is a gate and it is a gated area that every visitor has to call at the intercom to the reception for the staff to let the person/uber into the compound. Highly recommend this place, and a big thank you to the owner and the staff for all their kindness and considerate nature that made our time here a joy!

Nice hostel with really good clean and modern facilities. The staff are very friendly and the kitchen is really great for cooking! Also cheap drinks at the bar, and a pool if that' what you're there for. Conveniently located for catching the bus to the falls, or a short walk to bars/supermarket etc.

I was planning to stay in a hostel but Selina Foz is more a hotel with some hostel rooms. It's more difficult as a backpacker to get to know other people. The beds were very nice, every bed has a curtain and personal bed light which is always a plus when sleeping in hostels. Eduardo, one of the people who work at the reception, is super friendly, always with a big smile and super helpful! He helped me out a lot with planning how to get to Foz d'Iguazu and Puerto d'Iguazu.

Fantastic hostel! Great location for catching buses to both the Brazilian falls and the Argentinian border, only a £2 Uber ride from the bus station. The hostel itself is really cool, great communal areas and a really nice pool and it was easy to meet people. The free caipirinha was a nice touch and the bar was cheap! Close to a really good supermarket with money exchange and ATMs too and a few nice restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff!

Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly Julio. Property is very clean, safe and well presented. After the chaos of Sao Paulo this was a very welcome change of pace. Probably the best hostel breakfast that I've seen in Brazil overall
