Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location in the hills near the village of Samaipata in walking distance, superb garden and nice spacious property, very quiet, nice and helpful staff, clean room, we arrived in the night and Carlos organised a great solution to pick us up from the bus stop because there was no taxi.
This property by far was one of the best stays I had in 7 months in South America. After a previous reservation had an issue, this hostel was able to provide a bed for the same evening without problems. Tom the host, provides a fantastic home made breakfast that varies every single day and is a fantastic conversationalist. He will provide all the information and recommendations to have the best time in Samaipata! I can not recommend this place enough!
it had everything you need from a hostel. Really filling and nutritious breakfast included. Great views and lovely chill vibe with hammocks and nice music included. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms had proper mosquito protection. Also there were cats :3 yay! There is a kitchen it’s decent. All plugs worked, hot shower worked. Just what you need. The cheapest hostel we could find in the area. So we’ll done guys thanks :). Also I liked the cats. And the hammocks. And the cats in hammocks with me in them also :3.
absolutely lovely hostel. stunningly beautiful outdoor area, a lot of space inside. clean rooms and hands down the best breakfast I had in South America so far. relaxed atmosphere and really kind and caring owners. what is there more to ask for? best hostel I stayed in so far
Good budget accommodation in the center of Samaipata. Clean, good facilities, incredible host. Maria is very well traveled herself and totally understands the needs of backpackers/ budget travelers. Lovely garden.
Super nice accomodation. one of the best hostels i’ve ever been to! the facilities are super clean and nice and the place in general is just made with a lot of love. The owner is super nice and it has really family vibes. With the volunteers especially i had a great time. (Best breakfast i’ve had in a long time!)
Would definitely come back!
It's the best hostel I've ever been to. Beautiful place with an amazing view, comfy bed, they give us towels, the bathroom is cleaned everyday and the breakfast is incredibly deicious! There are pancakes, home made bread, jelly, a type of peaunut butter sweet, dulce de leche, fruits, natural juice, coffee and teas.
We can also cook, enjoy the garden with hammock and the owners are very nice and polite people!
Loved my time there and if Ill ever go back to Samapaita, Ill totally go back to Serena Hostel ;)
