Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The property is really pretty, has an amazing view of the lake and lots of outside seating areas. Breakfast was delicious and big, one of our best hostel breakfasts!
Great location. Safe. I loved the room. Nice common area with sofas in the first floor. Friendly staff. Clean.
Only the shower was a bit hard to adjust to the right temperature, it was eighter too hot or too cold, but it was not a big problem. Can highly recommend this place, would stay here again.
This hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was excellent. We stayed in the low season so not many people around but the staff were superb and the service fantastic. A very good breakfast buffet available with fresh fruit and yoghurt, eggs, a selection of breads, fresh juice and coffee. We ate in t he restaurants one night which was very good. The hotel is an easy walk to town centre, has good views of the lake. Not the cheapest place in town but very comfortable, safe and well managed.
Our stay at Olas well exceeded our expectations, we ended up spending a whole day in our room, rather than exploring the town. The staff were also really accomodating. Highly recommend and if you are on the backpackers budget like us then it is well worth the splurge.
The room was quiet and de beds were decent. The hostal has a great garden and view on Titicaca!!
The staff was very friendly.
The center is a 15 min walk, the road next to the water is safe in daylight. In the dark you can easily take a taxi. We also recommend a taxi if you arrive with the public bus at the Plaza, the walk to the hostel is uphill.
lovely hostel - very clean and comfortable. towels provided. security on the front door made me feel very safe too (though copacobana in general felt very safe). late check out (12pm) compared to other places which was great because I was I’ll with travellers flu during our time here. lovely and quiet.
