Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Better than the usual definition of a 'Hostel', spacious lounge and breakfast room, helpful staff, we travelled on motorcycles and they provided secure underground parking (no charge), small bar and terrace area to relax in, right in the town centre so easy to walk everywhere, area is full of old charm.
Very good location for visiting the centre of Mons, close to the Grand Place, bars and restaurants. Very good communication from Serge, the owner. Excellent private parking, safe behind a locked gate (to which you get the access code a day or so before arrival). Very well refurbished 17th century villa.
Lots to like. Great location. Access was easy via entry codes and communication was efficient. Lovely to have the shared kitchen, which was very well equipped, and the lounge area. Warm and comfortable. The room we had (Doudou) was warm, light, bright and spacious. The private bathroom was also good albeit down some stairs from the bedroom - not an issue for us. Bed was comfortable and the shower good.
Good, safe storage for our bikes.
Simply one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Comfortable and secure dormitories with toilet and shower. Spacious indoor & outdoor common area and very good breakfast. Brilliant staff.
