Seaside Lodge Hostel Townsville- right next to coles, 2 mins walk to strand & CBD, hotel in Townsville

Set in Townsville, within 1.4 km of Reef HQ and 2.8 km of Townsville 400 Racetrack Start / Finish line, Seaside Lodge Hostel Townsville- right next to coles, 2 mins walk to strand & CBD provides free...

Breakfast isn’t included, but we have a kitchen and fridges. We cook, order food, or go to nearby places like Coles, McDonald's, or Subway. If it’s farther, delivery is usually an option. Be sure to change cash in Melbourne or Sydney before arriving. The atmosphere here is fantastic, with plenty of friendly people to talk to at any time of day. I’ve made many new friends, and the hostel is especially good at this time of year

Roamer Magnetic Island Koala Park - formerly Selina Magnetic Island, hotel in Townsville

Roamer Magnetic Island Koala Park - formerly Selina Magnetic Island showcases open-air building designs and communal spaces for guests.

My heart goes to the staff that welcomed from the first day. Fabio behind the counter able to work under pressure like a giant. Ilaria at the reception desk, managing the operations perfectly. Stella at the bar which always has a chat with the guests. The kitchen which prepared a perfect lunch with my allergens. The hostel has relaxed vibe, perfect to return after the day out and rest. The pool is awesome and refreshing, the kitchen and the bathroom well cleaned in a tropical climate. The wildlife is just amazing koalas, kangaroos and possums play under the birds all hours. Amazing the dormitory. Spacious and fine clean, with a genius keyless door. The big mango tree at the entrance really set the vibes. Hammocks, bean bags and couch do the rest. Inside the gates there is massive space with camping area and spaced cabins. You can get lost looking at the big palms or following a curlew. Will return

Great location, good space within the apartment with all facilities available and easy to use. Great for families or a group of friends staying in Townsville. Good safe place to park a car and enjoy walking into Townsville. Set near the strand and many café and restaurants. I would stay again and recommend this place.

One of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen is super spacious and you have everything you need (even an air fryer). Rooms are nice and super clean. The patio is nice as well. All staff is beyond, but special mention to Arthur who might have been the best ever in all hotels we’ve ever been to.

I have travelled consistently in hostels for the last 5 years and this was the best hostel that I’ve experienced. The amenities were all functional, clean and they had clean hand towels and clean bath mats. This alone speaks volumes about how well this hostel is maintained. The pool is magnificent. This hostel was a breath of fresh air on the journey of hostel life for a seasoned backpacking traveller.

A bit more of a dated old style hostel. But everything was clean, comfortable and safe.
