Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location. It was easy to access all the main Darwin City attractions by foot. Close to a woolworths. Safe and secure. The kitchenette had everything I needed to be self sufficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location, peaceful being away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to the city. Magnificent views and the house was clean and safe with everything we needed. Plenty of space for 5 ppl. Will definitely miss the sunsets..
Very well equipped kitchen. Clean. Comfy. Had bread, butter, milk and condiments supplied! Even a couple beers and a bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise 😮. Great location, good for kids with pools, enclosed swimming, Ping pong, and basketball court in the precinct. Great bars and cafes, security patrolled at night and I felt very safe.
Loved it here. Booked last minute after a bad hostel experience (“Cozy Hostel” - do not recommend). Staff here were friendly and helpful, price was good, rooms were beautiful, beds were extremely comfy and big, pools were nice. Location: sometimes felt a little unsafe outside of the gates at night but overall very good location. Would highly recommend and would stay here again
Great location in Darwin Cbd. . One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Made lots of good friends unlike other hostels where nobody will talk to you . It's also quiet enough to sleep if you are working. The owner has speedy response if any problems occur and great tips for things to do in the local area.
Location is very central, staff is nice and helpful. Like a normal busy backpacker hostel, bedrooms are busy and not the cleanest, bunk beds aren't he most comfortable but okay. Kitchen is quite usable with some free fridge space. Laundry was easily usable. Bathroom was spacious and clean.
I wanted budget accommodation, that was not a hostel or anything with shared facilities. Argus was not only the cheapest at this next level, but included basic breakfast each morning, and the room was superb for this budget price. Also all staff I interacted with (both front counter, breakfast bar, and cleaning), were fantastic and could not be more happy to assist me as needed.
