Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Extremely cosy lounge, very clean, great location regarding public transit. Friendly staff and great additional benefits, such as free entry to the climbing gym in case of rainy days.
-Staff was wonderful, provided clear information and fulfilled request.
- Although it was hostel, due to less busy time - owner(staff) accommodated room with no other guest.
-Outdoor parking was available for no fee.
- Places to hike near by.
The hostel is located in the village of Ehrwald and we got the 4-bed room with a magnificant view of the mountain from the window. everything is perfect. we can use the shared kitchen with all equipment. the dining and common area is big and we really enjoy the stay there!!. I would recommend it, especially for the low-budget people who wanna experience such a beautiful village surrounded by the mountain range. :) PS. the hostel stuff is really nice!! they are really helpful and friendly!!
One of the best hostel I stayed - friendly and helpful staff, stunning view from the lodge, local and tasty breakfast, big parking lot and very calm for a hostel. The place is very charming and well decorated - it's quite a new establishment (2018 I believe) but the place has personality unlike a lot of new hostels/hotels.
They allowed me to park there the following day until I finished my hike. The staff also provided towels for free and their coffee (from Tanzania) is fantastic.
Amazing view from the common room
over the valley, basic but clean private room. The hostel seems to serve backpackers, hikers and climbers, the town seems to be a less touristy place to stay to access the mountains
The best hostel I’ve stayed in, a lovely relaxing vibe, perfect location for hiking in the area without a car, friendly staff! 10/10 🙂
