Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
good location, a bit outside city centre, but in good distance with taxi/uber/ car - super friendly and supportive hosts - delicious breakfast - safe space for our car
Great price and good location, 20 minute walk to the town centre and 30 minute walk to the bus terminal.
Staff are absolutely lovely, I was quite unwell one of the days and they went above and beyond for me. Truly some of the nicest hostel staff I've encountered.
The room was exceptionally well appointed with a huge bed, beautiful bed linens. All the towels etc were monogrammed with the GM logo. Grace and Octavio were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Grace insisted on guiding us to safe parking.
The breakfast was really lovely with fresh fruits and freshly baked croissants with very good coffee
Very simple hostel but had good air con in the room and wasn't super busy as I don't think many people stop in La Rioja. It's fairly close to the main centre. Staff were helpful when I needed to book a taxi to the bus station.
Price-quality ratio was very good. The hostel has old and limited facilities, lacking things such as hand soap, a decent stove and functioning wifi. However, it is clean, rather central, staff is friendly and around, there is a roof terrace and there are laundry facilities. It has a relaxt and nice atmosphere. The showers are great. The hostel is very cheap and for what it offers it is a great price.
