Intiaconcagua is located in the heart of Lujan de Cuyo, only 50 m away from the central park and cathedral. The room is in a beautiful house from the 19th century, with very high ceiling which makes it fresh. Access is via a main iron entrance and a second gate with a padlock. Convenient parking in the yard. All is spotless clean. The room is ample and there are still several beds from its time as a hostel. So one can pick your bed. The room (at least mine) had no windows but the huge massive wooden door is open above for fresh air. The big and british-styled bathroom is private and one can have a bath or a shower in the tub. There are shared facilities like a dining room, the garden, and the equipped kitchen with fridge. And a gym, as Santiago, the owner, is a gym teacher. And very friendly, he is also onto mountain sports and helped me a lot with the trail in Cordon del Plata. All in all, great value for the price. Payment cash only.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Really cosy and peaceful place to stay with its own private pool and a view of the Andes mountains, with a nice outdoor area with tables and chairs and an area to relax. The casita is near some nice restaurants and things to do in the area, has an amazing shower and a tv with Netflix. It’s a very safe area. We had an amazing stay here for Christmas and the owner Maurice the host is very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us.
