Stayed here for a night before heading to Valbona:
- We had a private room booked, which was quite literally a stone's throw away from the main communal area. It seems they have a few buildings scattered around locally.
- Staff introduced us to various sights in Shkoder and explained how travel for the Valbona-Theth hike would work; you take a bus/small coach to Lake Komani, where you board a ferry to Fierza. From there, you get another bus/small coach that takes you to your Valbona guesthouse. It costs €26 per person for the trip, and possibly a bit more if Wanderer's book your guesthouse for you (we booked our own closer to the start of the trail).
- The room was clean and had plenty of space for two people (could have fit four max), and were provided basic towels and bedding.
- There was a free dinner offered which was made my a staff member (I think), very nice touch.
- Held our luggage (unlocked room as others have mentioned) while we hiked in the north, and then warmly welcomed us back when we went to pick up.
- We didn't use a lot of the facilities but it's like they'd thought of everything: access to a kitchen, free pasta/rice/coffee/tea, washing machine and dryer (payment taken), bikes for hire etc.

It's the perfect hostel ! The team is super welcoming and friendly, the house is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is big if you like to cook, everything is very clean, the bed was confortable, it's in a quiet area but right in the center of the city, good restaurants in the street, everything is near. It is at almost equal distance from the fortress on one side and the old bridge from Mes on the other side. I was there in January, so I guess it must be even better in the summer when you can hang out outside in the terrace with a little bar.

3 despite some people leave everything dirty every day the woman working there will clean everything PROPERLY!!!!
4 the curtain really makes all the difference!!!! You just close it and you will have all your privacy...
5 for a few euros they will arrange a bus to Tirana or to the airport, they will call for you for free.
Price/ service this hostel is probably the best that you can get in Albania.
Ps: the kitchen has all the tools you need.

Nice place, the beach is close, it is quiet, there is no noise, the apartment is clean, it is cheap, everyone can afford it, and the staff and the people who live there are nice.
I spent a wonderful family vacation, calm and safe. We come from Belgium and we enjoyed it a lot. The shower with iodine on the coast and very healing was the best of that country. The location of the apartment was only 100 meters from the sea in the center of Velipoja. .just a few meters from there and you can find all the necessary services with supermarkets, banks, restaurants, pharmacies, everything you need. the apartment was very clean and with new and modern furniture. there was an elevator and it was secured with cameras and guards.
Exellent villa location. Perfect for families with children. It is clean and equipped with a full kitchen. The host was very friendly and helpful.
The neighborhood was very quiet and safe .
Tha distance from the beach was 4 min by walk .
She provided us with useful info on local prices and cuisine . I would recommend booking it if you want to have a good place to stay and enjoy Albania.
We stayed two nights at white beach villa and it is beautiful and consistent with the photos, very quiet and relaxing,fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the most beautiful of this accommodation is the patio and the amazing garden .
The host was very available and responsive, made sure we arrived safely and didn't miss anything.

Family-run hotel a short walk from the beach and the promenade. Helpful and supernice owner. Good pizzeria around the corner and the neigborhood is calm and quiet. Safe parking in the ground floor. If you want to enjoy your stay in Velipojë, this is the obvious choice. I would give it 11/10.
