My recent three-day stay at Mandarine Hostel in Tirana this past January was absolutely perfect. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hostel's modern feel and the fact that everything was brand new. This extended to the sparkling clean bathrooms, a huge plus for any traveler!
The atmosphere at Mandarine Hostel is incredibly welcoming. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, creating a really positive vibe. I especially want to highlight the exceptional service I received. The manager (a bald guy, if that helps identify him!) went above and beyond to assist me. No matter how big or small my query, he was always ready to help in any way he could. This level of dedication is truly appreciated. Even the cleaning staff were incredibly nice and friendly, contributing to the overall positive experience.
A special shout-out also goes to Dora, whose service was exceptional such a lovely lady who is such an asset to the hostel
Overall, my stay at Mandarine Hostel was fantastic. The combination of brand new facilities, a friendly and helpful staff (especially the manager and Dora!), and a great atmosphere makes it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Tirana. I highly recommend it!

I was traveling with friend by car through Albania and this way our last night(the best one). We had so much fun with other guest and owner as well. There's a beer and a chill room. Everyone was super nice and we had a room just for ourselves. Breakfast was just delicious and the whole place had a great vibe.

Both receptionists were extremely kind and hospitable. The hostel had a professional layout and was clean. It is also quite close to the center of Tirana and many shops are located nearby.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Awesome room, nice staff, thank you very much to Jonathan.
The hostel is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from Tirana's main square. The staff is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The dormitory and bathroom were always clean. The dinner was absolutely delicious and you quickly get to know new people with whom you can do things. Would definitely come back, clear recommendation! Thank you for everything!
This is the best hostel in Tirana because it's clean and safe. I stay at it every time I travel there. The hostel staff is very kind and always ready to accommodate any needs.
Very basic, but comfortable enough. Air con/heating worked well. The place seemed very secure too. Great for a budget stay though - it worked out at EUR10 per person per night!! That's as cheap as a hostel, but you have the place to yourselves.
The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Such a great location too, you couldn't get more central. Excellent value for money, and the place itself was by far the best hostel I've stayed in so far - and I've stayed in many. Cannot fault my stay whatsoever and when I come back to Tirana I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Great location in centre of Tirana, walking distance to everything good in the city. Clean. Safe. Good communication with host. 3euro for 24hr parking around the corner. Not luxurious, but good for 1 or 2 nights for cheap price and clean beds to explore the city.
This is a very good hostel in central Tirana with adequate facilities such as hot showers and WiFi. Moreover, there is a living room with comfortable seats, a terrace and a well equipped kitchen. The spacious dormitory offers comfortable beds, curtains to ensure some privacy and lockers. The hostel is in a quite area and guests kept noise to a minimum.
Friendly service minded Albanian staff. E.g. they offered me a safe option to store luggage. They even had change in €.
It really is the best hostel in Tirana (I tried others before writing this review). Staff are awesome, Melissa is a fab person, Kristina is simply wonderful, a fun and lovely family vibe. Really the best breakfast I've had, such a spread! Beds are super comfy, I had great sleep. Rooms and common areas heated which is really nice in winter. Nice hot showers. Great location, surrounded by supermarket and fruit-veg shops. Close to bus stop.
Everything was nice. Good money for value. Nice people working in the place. It is not luxurious but nice and clean.
I arrived for a flight delay and I was happy to know that there was somedy waiting for me at 2 A.M. My friends also suffered a car breakdown, so I was eager to get to the hostel.
I really recommend it. It is the cheapest option for tight budgets if you are looking to get a cosy and clean place!I was there the 25 of July 2022. I will definitely come back
The staff is awesome, one of the best hostel breakfast I've had so far, the common area is cozy and well decorated and good for meeting people, they are respectful about noise at night and still it's a good place to have some beers and talk to other travelers.
