The room was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the breakfast was delicious and the owner and the rest of the staff are so warm and friendly. A lot of passion and effort has gone into making this guesthouse a one-of-a-kind, special experience for its guests. Highly recommend Blue Rain Guest House to anyone passing through or staying in Bloemfontein. We can't wait for our return. :)

A highlight was the patio with braii grill and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Erich was an incredibly helpful and friendly host.

I was travelling from far and the host picked me up from where I was dropped off to the venue, everything you see on the picture is exactly that way. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The host cares about his guests safety, I'm definitely going back there again. I kept thinking I should have booked for a longer stay. I loved everything about the place.

They were incredibly accommodating as I had arrived later than expected. The room itself was cozy and had all the amenities. The heated blankets were a plus!

The accommodation was better than on the photos and definitely your money's worth. A gem of bygone times, making you want to return to this town for the accommodation as a stopover destination. The owners were friendly and welcoming, sharing information of their town.
