Couldn't fault this beautiful place, Andrew was so welcoming on arrival, his hospitality was second to none. Absolutely loved hearing of the local area and recommendations of where to visit and they didn't disappoint. The rooms are located in a beautiful courtyard with the most homely vibes, we settled into our stay within minutes. The pictures of this beautiful place do not do it any justice. Highly recommend staying here

In July 2024, we had the chance to stay in this extraordinary place, surrounded by nature. After traveling 3 km on a chaotic track, accessible only by 4x4s and SUVs, we reached Kukummi Lodge, formerly Mackaya Bella Country Lodge. Nestled in an isolated valley, this lodge is a true haven of peace, far from everything. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, Bryan and Danny, as well as Amina, our contact before the stay. Seeking to return to their roots, they left their previous life to acquire this property just a year ago. Their attention to every detail made our stay memorable. Located on the edge of the Mdedelelo Wilderness Area & Solitude park (Champagne Valley), the lodge offers superb hiking options. The landscapes are breathtaking, and each hike reveals new wonders. We enjoyed a sunny day hiking, guided by Danny who showed us the treasures of the region. We then explored the central part of the Drakensberg (Monks Cowl), and can say that this lodge is undoubtedly the gem among all those we visited during our stay. This lodge, particularly isolated, is ideal for those seeking to recharge and share special moments with the hosts. With only three rooms at that time, the experience is intimate and personalized ! As for us, we will return during our next stay in South Africa.

Newstead Farm - Country Cottages er staðsett 2,3 km frá Curry's Post og 21 km frá Nelson Mandela-fangasvæðinu. Best Rusks and WiFi in the Farm We stayed in Paddock cottage with my 13 and 14 year old and they enjoyed it 💯%. It's spacious and their WiFi is fast . We had Ms Winnie welcome us and she is friendly and our cottage was spotlessly clean. It's was easy to find ,we drove from Durban. Our cottage was intimate and very cozy....... In the morning we had the lovely horses at our backyard,REFRESHING AND REFUELS THE MIND👏🏿 THESE WERE OUR HIGHLIGHTS #We had all amenities, including an umbrella #simple and spacious enough to be comfortable #bathtub clean ,spacious and had enough hot water ❤️❤️❤️coffee and rusks my son said its the best 💚💚milk in the fridge,you saved our morning,thanks # Door separing the kitchen and bedroom,it gives you privacy and added storage #the wardrobe is spacious and we had enough hangers. We had enough blankets some were warm. The night and early morning was chilly......

Graceland Self-Catering Cottages er staðsett í Winterton, 5,3 km frá Monks Cowl Country Club og 25 km frá Winterton Museum. Boðið er upp á sundlaug með útsýni og loftkælingu. The stunning view! There is a lovely lounge area at the swimmingpool with an amazing view over the Champagne Valley! Very spacious place with fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, 2 bathrooms and large living area! The hosts are so nice and give loads of explanation about restaurants and the area.

A great location, spectacular views and beautiful decor in this private cottage. Angie was the perfect host, so helpful and knowledge about the area. The wifi was fast, and she has 3 beautiful dogs. 11/10 for Angie and her Cottage, it was an amazing stay!
