If you look for a real local Homestay and it is. It is very basic house. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Staying at Happy Homestay is an amazing cultural experience! The whole family welcomed me like I was their own and went out of their way to teach me Vietnamese phrases, talk about the culture, and make me feel at home. The homestay is a bit outside of the city and is best accessed by motorbike. You'll feel like you're part of the family. Thank you for the company and music!
The location is close to restaurants. The accommodation is spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff speaks a little English. Breakfast was included but we overslept it. There aren't many tourists in town, so it's really a local experience with locals.
Wow! Best homestay so far! Ni and Hue (sorry if I misspelled) were so nice. We had lunch and dinner with them and the other guests en had a great night with singing and good food! The next day Hue took us to the rice and coffee farm and we had lunch there. Just making pork and patatoes on a campfire. Thanks again and maybe see you again!

The family is amazing a truly authentic experience. I just wish I had planned to stay in Buon Ma Thot longer. If you like Vietnamese coffee. Happy Homestay (Buon Ma Thot) is the place. It is the coffee capital of Vietnam there are many things to see coffee fields and waterfalls. I was welcomed as part of the family and had a great time! Food is FANTASTIC !!! Location is great too. For everyone who wants to experience the life of a vietnamese family in Buon Ma Thuot the happy homestay is the best place to go.
We highly recommend this homestay! You will stay in an actuall homestay with the best, nicest and friendliest family. They invited us for the end of the year dinner and took as to visit their friends to learn about traditional cooking. They were friendly and helpful, helped us with bike rental. Their daughters are fluent in English and the parents speak enough to have a friendly conversation. We felt like family.
