Eco House is a great stay for a trip to Cao Bang. We spent a total of 4 nights and enjoyed the enthusiastic and friendly staff and owners there. They own other accommodation places in town as well as a tour company, so it's easy to get things organised if needed. The room is comfortable with more than enough shelf space for your luggage. There were all the bathroom amenities needed and the hot water was virtually instant. They have a very well rated cafe on the ground level that is definitely worth trying. Across from the hotel is the river and there are restaurants and cafes both in front and behind on the main street. Noise wise, there will be some on Fri and Sat when the main street is closed off to become a "walking street" with food and entertainment. It's lively and worth exploring - we loved it. It wouldn't matter where you stay, you will hear a bit of the entertainment but it all stops by 10pm. They really took care of us and organised transport at a rate that wasn't easy to find on your own ... and it made our onward journey super easy. Thanks to the team at Eco House.

Primrose Homestay Cao Bang is situated in Cao Bằng and features a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. We would like to say a special thanks to the host. She gave us a lot of good and valuable advice of where to go, where to take the bus etc. Our room was not very large, but every bed had it's own lamp and curtains, which was a nice touch. The guesthouse was in a central location, walking distance from everywhere.
