There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms have a terrace with lake views and free WiFi. The propeety is quietly ticked away outside of Can Tho city but only a 15-min grab ride away. It is a lovely property with plants, ponds and lots of trees. Human did such a wonderful job in hosting, his mom is a good cook and we loved the vibe of the place. Our room was big and very clean. There are enough fans and mosquito nets around the beds so you don’t need to worry about mosquito bites. There is even mosquito repellent in the room and all amenities for tea and mineral water. Human suggested we go to a coffee place together when he found out I like coffee. We had a great chat and he shared many insights. We have absolutely loved our stay here for all the reasons above and I can’t recommend staying with Human enough. He is also very helpful when it comes to organizing tours (we felt sorry we didn’t go on the floating market tour with him!) or a driver. Think about bringing cash to pay Human when you stay. We had a lovely stay, thank you Human!

They made us feel very welcome and gave us a good insight into real Vietnamese life - not the tourist version. The house is amazing. Sitting on the deck watching the river was very relaxing. It was a great contrast from Ho Chi Minh City, our previous destination. Bosa was our guide for a day doing floating markets, markets and city. It was great to be with a local host as it didn’t feel touristy. Phoenix’s home cooked meals were amazing - the best food in Vietnam. Definitely a highlight.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a year-round outdoor pool. Our stay at Boutique Lodge was probably the best during our month-long stay in Vietnam. Our room was spacious and comfortable with outside seating facing the garden area and pool. The saltwater pool is luxurious (the photos don't do it justice), especially since this was our first warm weather place we visited in Vietnam as we were traveling north to south. The early morning water market trip on Taun's boat was followed up with a tour of the incredible land market. The Mekong is truly a paradise of exotic fruit, vegetables and fish and the land market shows these off. The guests select the ingredients for the evening meal which is prepared by Tuan's family. An absolute feast! Best of all is Tuan's hospitality. He makes sure that all is organized for a perfect stay including transportation to and from the airport/bus station, boat trip, local tour and delicious meals (3 a day for a nominal cost). He does this with warmth and humor. It was also a treat to socialize with the other guests. We had a fabulous time at Boutique Lodge with wonderful memories to treasure.

Sightseeing tours are available nearby. Guests at the homestay can enjoy billiards on-site, or cycling in the surroundings. So dreamy and beautiful! This place was on my bucket list and I’m so glad we stayed here! The water front villa was stunning, dinner was yummy and staff was super helpful. They also organised for us the floating market trip and it was so worth it! Love love love!!

Thanh Ha Guesthouse is 200 metres from Ninh Kieu Pier and 300 metres from Can Tho Museum. Cai Rang Floating Market is 6.1 km away while Can Tho International Airport is 11 km from the property. The arranged floating market tour by Ms. Ha was excellent. We were two people and were gone roughly 8 hours. The tour included two floating markets, various food from the sellers tours of a rice paper making establishment a candy production and a sweet rice treat. Ms. Ha knew the villagers and showed us around. We were exhausted afterwards :) was the highlight of our Vietnam trip. Highly recommended. Accommodations were simple and clean. Just what we hoped for.
