The ladys working there are really nice and work really hard, you can see that they like what they do. The owner is friendly and ready to help and can speak a really good english. Perfect Homestay, Local experience and good prices. They make you feel like family. Daughter speaks perfect english. We did a boat tours with her and her Father, which was lot of fun. And we also did a nice sunset tour. The food the mother cooked for us for dinner, was one of the best meals we had in vietnam. Also really nice breakfast. Our room had AC and was very comfortable, but we spent most of our time relaxing at the riverfront on hammocks and deck chairs. You can see fireflays in the evening. And drink ricewine with the family. And also do karaoke if you enjoy it. During the day, they have bikes you can borrow to explore the island.

Ba Danh Homestay & Kitchen - Ben Tre Mekong in Ben Tre has a garden and a shared lounge. This homestay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. We loved the authenticity of this place, so much so that we stayed 3 days instead of the 1 which we had planned. My husband didn't want to stop originally in Ben Tre and woke up the morning after suggesting we stayed extra :D You'll be surrounded by nature, peace, the most kind Vietnamese family and make sure you speak with Chi about going to the market and cooking with her family. It was something we also hadn't planned because we wanted to skip the tourist traps and it felt like going around Ben Tre with a friend. Bike available for free, Vietnamese coffee and delicious tea available during the day for a very small fee so you don't need to go out if you don't want to. We booked in the afternoon and Chi messaged me right away to organize a transfer from the bus station to the homestay - very smooth! Thank you Chi and your family and friends for making us feel at home, we'll remember the time on the hammocks once we're back to busy London!

Situated in Ấp Tân An Thi, ISLAND HOMESTAY TIỀN GIANG features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Very peaceful location on the Mekong river Island. The host and his wife picked us up at the ferry stop and after our two nights stay dropped us off as well. During the stay we ate all our meals cooked by host wife and the taste was amazing. Also they organised a private river tour for us which was very nice- away from all the crowds. We also used bicycles for free to explore the Island and the city nearby.
