Also there is a cafeteria Las Cabras, just in front of the entrance on the opposite side of the street of Carlos Quijano. Start you morning there, take a coffee with biscuit, sit and relax, breathe, watch, smell, absorb. Leave extra tips for baristas, they are awesome and doing great job. Walk slowly for a few blocks to the Intendencia building, 10:00 am, observation platform opens. Here it is, Montevideo.

Lots of buses nearby making it easy and cheap getting to the old city and the center.

Very cool building in a nice location, stayed in a clean room with a private bathroom, staff were nice, everything was in order, and they accommodated our request to check in late no problem.
