Great location and all the amenities of home. Loved having access to a kitchen and Mychelle was super welcoming and even did our laundry (which was much needed after a week on Oahu first). We had our own bathroom to use and parking was included. It was a great place to set up home base for our stay on the big island.

This is a fantastic property to base yourself from and explore Kailua/kona and surrounding areas. The hosts have very thoughtfully kitted out and prepared the accommodation. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is spacious, the kitchen area pretty well kitted out, and has a comfortable lounge area. If you’re looking to prepare lots of your own meals, know that this property doesn’t have an oven and only a single ring hob, toaster plus microwave. Also if you’re looking for panoramic views from a balcony or similar, this cottage is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood just a short hop from Ali’i drive and you’d have to pay substantially more for those kind of views. The hosts were super responsive to mail questions and all in all I’d highly recommend this cottage.

Situated just 12 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Big Island Getaway provides accommodation in Pahoa with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as bicycle parking. Chris and Roxy became my family for a week. the house is very beautiful, clean and has a beautiful garden. Bus stop a few steps away, very useful for me as I didn't rent a car. The kitchen is super equipped and always clean, same thing for the bathroom. Room with a very comfortable bed and equipped with every comfort, same thing for the living room and other common areas! Staying with Chris and Roxy was very nice, more than the owners of the property, they are friends who open their doors to you and help you make and enjoy your stay on the Big Island in the best possible way! I highly recommend it to everyone and above all don't be limited by the fact that there is a dog in the house, Roxy is very sweet and good! Definitely if I were to return to Hawaii one day, I would still choose to stay with Chris and Roxy!

The Bamboo House in Kailua-Kona provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. All rooms are fitted with a balcony. The peacefulness of this accommodation is astounding. You feel like you've arrived at a spa. The rooms are large, bedsheets and towels made of premium quality, and quiet ambiance. There are two rooms on the top floor, so you are sharing the 'home' with another guest, but the wall are sp thick and you cannot hear into the other room. If you don't want to, you can easily keep to yourself and not run into the other guests. The owner lives on the first floor. My favourite part was the details - artwork from India, antique chairs from Indonesia, sunscreen and aloe vera in the bathroom for unlimited use, super stocked kitchen, etc. Highly recommend, wish we would have spend more than 2 nights here!

The bathroom and kitchen are very spacious. The pool and loungers are clean and inviting. Nothing is missing. I was fascinated by the entrance to the house with the koi pond. The hosts are very friendly and you feel welcome. Your privacy is not compromised despite the shared bathroom and kitchen. It is simply beautiful there.

This recently renovated guest house features a building dating back to 2016, which is 27 km from the Waimea Park. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. Perfect place to stay with your love one. Close to anywhere on Big Island, quiet and very comfy, highly recommended.
