Boasting quiet street views, Ocean View Paradise! is set in Hawaiian Ocean View, 48 km from St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church. Troy is a great host super friendly and kind nothing is too much issue. He has gone above and beyond to make guest comfortable and ensure they have everything they need. Quiet location but close to a great local restaurant and bar. To top the stay off we spent the evening in the hot tub once the sun had set and could see hundred of stars and the Milky Way. Special place would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about booking.

Situated just 12 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Big Island Getaway provides accommodation in Pahoa with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as bicycle parking. Chris was a great host, and very knowledgeable about things to do and see on the Big Island. If you want a 5 star hotel, and tip everybody you bump into 25%, then go to the Hilton. But, if you want a real house with real people, the Big Island Getaway might just be for you. Thanks Chris.

We chose this place for our first night on the Hawaiian Islands. It’s about a 20-30 minute drive from the airport. The popular restaurants are also within a 2-3 mile drive, so it’s a great location! The surrounding neighborhood is very quiet. The overall service and room were very thoughtful. The check-in process was simple and clear, with insect-repelling scents and sprays, a small nightlight in the bathroom, a guestbook by the door, and even face masks available! There’s also a steam iron and regular iron to choose from. We only realized after leaving that there was no TV, which fits perfectly with the bamboo and zen concept.
