Housed in a historic building registered by Taipei City Government, a few steps away from Dihua Street, OrigInn Space is a place full of nostalgic atmosphere, old story, 60s - 70s Nordic furniture and... We stayed for five nights, and felt almost like we were living there by the end of the trip. The location is great – you have one of Taipei’s most interesting neighbourhoods on your doorstep, and can enjoy it before/after the day trippers have gone home. The property itself has a lot of character and has been nicely fitted out. Loved having a record player in the room, and getting occasional visits from the house cat. Speaking of the cat: it has the run of the property and is the only member of “staff” who’s on site during the night. Guests can get a discount on coffee at the cafe on the ground floor, though it doesn’t open until 11am so you’ll have to go elsewhere for breakfast (try the congee restaurant opposite the market).

I'd like to gate keep this room but it's also a good feeling to share with co-travellers a gem such as this place. The room still looks new and it is indeed just right for 1 person coz of the sizes of bed and room, but it is a very comfortable one. I had a good sleep every night. Additionally, It has all the those important details you would want in an accommodation- ref, washer, blower, slippers, hangers. I also truly appreciate the thoughtfulness of the host to prepare all those snacks for the guest. Location is superb! lots of food choices and transpo options. I would definitely stay here again without thinking twice.

If you have *any* questions, you can reach out to them and they will help you immediately. Next to that, the facilities are superb with everything being present that you could possibly need. Utensils, cups, plates, adaptors, water dispenser, ... Beds were very comfortable as well and the AC was working perfectly, so the stay was very comfortable. If you ever need to stay in Taipei for a bit of a longer time, I would most certainly recommend this place!

May Rooms Taipei Main Station is located in the downtown area of Taipei with overlooking the historical North Gate and the General Post Office. The place is peaceful, homely and clean. Been there twice and all the time I’m there I meet great stuff and people. I’m so grateful because I usually meet genuine people who are usually there because of traveling. And I’m there mostly for Marathons.

Jacky's House Ximen is situated in the Wanhua District district of Taipei, 300 metres from MRT Ximen Station, less than 1 km from Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market and a 10-minute walk from... Staff were so patient! I was late because it was so hard to find a restaurant during LNY. Excellent value, great room. They even had a heater ready when I asked in advance.

A recently renovated property, 苓旅萬年-LIN INN Wan Nian is set in Taipei near The Red House, MRT Ximen Station and Presidential Office Building. They locate in a great location, just right in Ximending area and very closed to 2 branches of Xin mala. The check-in system was not complicated. There are some staff working at the hotel but no front desk, so whatever you need, contact them via Line platform.
