The place is safe, clean, and authentic. The breakfast is amazing with sea view. Homemade jam bakery is so delicious. The host also gave us suggestions on where to go it shows he really loves what he is doing you can feel it in every detail, I rarely write reviews but I did for this one. A ne pas rater

Dar Souad ligger i La Marsa och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Everything was great, place, breakfast/dinners, atmosphere, hosts. Thanks to Dar Douads recommendation we used BOLT app to have fast, traceable and cheap taxi rides all over the city. Strongly recommend to use it’s service from airport which will cost around 20 dinars, not more. There is a great shop nearby to buy really nice honey, nuts, olive oil, etc… check the name of the shop with hosts

Guillemette and Lotfie were incredible hosts!! They made my stay in Tunisia so special/amazing - I truly felt as if I was staying with family, I was very well taken care of. The house/garden is beautiful. While you are not in a city/town (more of suburb) it's the perfect launching point for the city center, La Marsa, Sidi Bou Said, etc. and taxi's are quite easy to get (via Bolt) and cheap. It was wonderful to come back after a long day exploring to the peace and quiet of the property. I would highly recommend you try Lotfie's cooking! I ate here every night for dinner and never went to bed hungry :) He makes delicious, authentic Tunisian dishes with a lot of love and care. If I ever come back to Tunisia, I'll be staying here again for sure. Thank you both!!

We had stayed at The 18 La Marsa Guest House a few days prior. Our experience was so positive that we decided to cancel our reservation at Sousse and rebook our last night in Tunisia with The 18. Our hosts were extremely helpful and on both stays we had great conversations with them. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable but more importantly ever so convenient to the airport. This is the perfect location for anyone who is departing from Tunis airport in the morning, whether you have a rental car (as we did) or not.

The house is beautiful, bed super comfortable 2 mins from the beach, very nice breakfast. Swimming pool and terrace to relax. 10 mins walk train Station. Host were friendly.
