Set in Koh Chang Ranong, Sawasdee Resort features accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. Fon and Nui’s little piece of paradise is very unique, even in the context of Koh Chang. The bungalows are new, very clean, and super comfortable. Their garden is flawless, you can see how much love and care is invested in it. The restaurant is also great, everything we ate was delicious, including the great smoothies. Looking forward to be back soon!

Offering river views, Baanhatsompaen homestay is an accommodation located in Ranong, 6.3 km from Raksa Warin Hot Spring and 8 km from Rattanarangsan Palace. Absolute delightful stay, we felt like family immediately. Food was delicious (try Pad Kra Pao!), the view over the reservoir was spectacular and (since everybody wants to know) the wifi was fast!

For what the amenities were, you couldn't ask for anything better. Simple. The hosts were amazing and caring. It was our fav stop so far. This isn't luxury if that's what your looking for. It's a step into real thailand. Simple life. Disconnected. We could have stayed a week!

Featuring mountain views, Sunnyvale Ranong 1 provides accommodation with free bikes and a terrace, around 2.4 km from Rattanarangsan Palace. Everything. I wish they have one hotel in each town and island. Super modern and breakfast was good. Best bed and pillow I sleept since leaving home. The staff was very helpful expecially the guy. Thank you!

A recently renovated guest house situated in Ko Phayam, Barefoot Project formerly Baan Klong Kleng features a bar. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. From the minute we were dropped off by the tuk tuk we were greeted as friends. The owners, sam and Toi are just hilarious… but in all the right ways . Sam is the outgoing ball of energy that we didn’t know we needed in our lives. Toi is so witty with her humour and their dog, Suzy was one step away for being stollen by us! The location is just perfect. The beach is stunning. Clean and quiet. If we needed anything… even sunglasses they would go out of their way to help us (they even bought me some and got me a very good deal and they looked great!) Food in the restaurant is delicious and the Choo chee curry was exactly what I needed. Don’t stay there if you don’t want the friendly welcome but that would be a sad thing to miss out on! Be prepared to want to extend your stay and find they don’t have availability!!! We tried begging and crying and holding onto their ankles but sadly, they were as loyal and kind to all their guests and not just us! Haha!

Set within 9.3 km of Rattanarangsan Palace and 12 km of Raksa Warin Hot Spring, Rung Inn Homestay provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ranong. The breakfast was Thai desserts. The location is outside the city - you need a car or motorcycle. The room was very, very clean. The bed is nice. There is a salt water swimming pool. The price is very good. But (... and I say this with good intentions - while giving a high score) it is probably not a good idea to keep chickens and roosters near the hotel room, unless you want that your customers get up at 4AM every day..... The owner is very kind. My general impression is very positive.
