It is placed on the water and in an exotic enviroment, but close to everything. The lady owner was very nice and they helped us with the transport when the taxi driver didn't come.

Featuring garden views and a garden, Zabit Bungalow is situated in the Saladan district of Ko Lanta, 1.2 km from Klong Khong Beach and 1.2 km from Secret Beach. Kho, the lady who greeted us and handled the entire booking was a wonderful host. Most of our communication happened with her and we briefly spoke to her husband to understand what kind of water activities we could participate in on the island. They gave us their honest opinion about everything and directed us to the best spots in town. Ah yes, we also rented a scooter through them and ended up booking our bus journey back to Krabi airport through them too. The price they offered was competitive and it came along with some good advice regarding best practices for riding around the island on scooters - like filling up fuel at petrol stations rather than picking up overpriced fuel from grocery stores.

There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. 1) The owners are welcoming, relaxed and super friendly. 2) The bungalow with air con is immaculate in every aspect. 3) The on-site restaurant is delicious.

Boasting garden views, Bluesky Beach Bungalows offers accommodation with balcony, around 200 metres from Long Beach. The property itself is so quaint and lovely especially for the price. The bungalows have a great amount of privacy, and coziness. We were initially worried the fan wouldn’t be enough but my partner, who gets hot very easily was pretty comfortable. Location wise it’s GREAT and just a 2 minute walk to the Long Beach main road. Located right next to the property they have a bar for drinks on the beach; a shop where you can rent motorbikes for a very reasonable daily price and book excursions (much cheaper than online); a market (there is a cheaper larger market down the street), local restaurants, and a man that owns a Pad Thai stall and makes the best pad Thai I’ve ever had!

Boasting a balcony with mountain views, a garden and a shared lounge, Lanta smile inn can be found in Ko Lanta, close to Long Beach and 2 km from Relax Bay Beach. Very nice and comfortable stay. Good beds, very clean, good aircon and very helpful and friendly owner and staff. Provided bottles of water every day. Highly recommended! I’m coming back!

Located within 1.4 km of Klong Khong Beach and 1.4 km of Secret Beach, Lanta Happy House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ko Lanta. Quiet, clean, A/C, hammock, table and chairs out side, hot shower. In the middle of the island with 7-11 just down the road and beach just beyond that. Restaurants just down the street that serve Thai and western food at good price. Can use as home base to explore island on motorbike or you have everything you need nearby if not. The owner has a kindness about him that really makes the stay. Rented a motorbike from him at a great price from my research and his wife even did my laundry (also at a great price). For what this property offers at the price, it’s the best quality stay I’ve had in Asia so far. The owner also helped me out with many things and was almost always at the property if something came up. Side note: if you hear children playing behind the resort (not loud or anything- just off in the distance) that’s because they are! If you trek off up the creek a little you’ll find a miniature waterfall and swimming hole- had a wonderful experience with the local children:)
