Boasting a garden and views of garden, Pension l'Etage is a recently renovated guest house set in Melk, 600 metres from Melk Abbey. This guest house offers free private parking, a lift and free WiFi. Very nice and cozy boutique hotel. we stayed there on our way to Schladming from Vienna. Melk was a very small and well situated town. The building, the room were amazing. The breakfast was all we needed, great coffee and croissants. There was no staff greeting you but there is also no need, the room was ready for us.

They are extremely supportive and go out of their way to facilitate their guests. Once, they dropped us to a nearby mall themselves as a taxi was not available, and when we were checking out, the airport transport service backed out last moment due to a car maintenance issue, and the owner dropped us to the airport themselves (at a cheaper price vs the airport transfer service). The rooms are very clean and modern, given they came in business only in early 2023. You get exactly what you see on booking.com, in terms of rooms cleanliness, decor, services and amenities. If ever in Novi Sad again, I would 100% stay there again.
