Situated within 26 km of Dobsinska Ice Cave and 33 km of Spis Castle in Hrabušice, ASCONA provides accommodation with seating area. Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

Pavol, the owner takes immense pride in this place and it shows. He is a genuine, kind and generous person who honestly cares if you are taken care of. I’ve been to places all over the world and this is my favorite place, hands down? Why? The amenities are many (the infra red sauna and hot tub to watch sunsets are two) and Pavol is excited for you to enjoy the labors of his work. He even helped me plan my day at the park and made sure I found my way. This was a special experience. I absolutely recommend this place.

Pokoje u Basi, a property with a garden, is set in Sromowce Niżne, 9 km from Niedzica Castle, 25 km from Treetop Walk, as well as 30 km from Bania Thermal Baths. The apartment was amazing, a bit small but very cosy, very well equipped, and clean. It has only one bedroom but 4 adult people can easily sleep in this apartment. The room was clean, and very well equipped. It was very nice, comfortable, and suited for children. It is suited in very calm and quite area. It has a very good WiFi high speed internet. Parking is available onsite. There is a small garden with grill and nice seating. Everything was new and clean. The bathroom has very nice it has shower. The owner was amazing, polite, and very helpful with everything. I would very recommend this apartment for stay with children because it is very close to village where is plenty to do.

Offering a bar and city view, Penzión Kolkáreň is located in Stará Ľubovňa, 38 km from Niedzica Castle and 44 km from Krynica Zdroj Train Station. Very cosy room with a super nice and hospitable lady owner. Good selection of food for breakfast (continental buffet). I highly recommend this place. We will be back if we are in Stará Lubovňa visiting our friend again.

Set within 11 km of Niedzica Castle and 22 km of Treetop Walk in Červený Kláštor, Múzeum Červený Kláštor offers accommodation with seating area. It is a magical place , full of history with super friendly staff . Our apartment was clean and spacious , breakfast very tasty and the entry to the monastery is free for everyone who's staying there. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back next year.

Nice, clean room. Well organized key handover - I've arrived late at night and easily parked my car and get into the room.

Featuring mountain views, Willa Sawina features accommodation with patio, around 11 km from Niedzica Castle. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Quiet, peaceful, extremely clean, lovely garden.
