Out of curiosity i read the bad reviews and many of them mention the gravel road. I am a bit surprised that people use gravel road to reach the destination as a criteria to rate the place itself. Also what does one expect from a mountain lodge??? Anyways, we had a great stay, 3 min hot water was absolutely enough and I loved that the place was environmentally friendly.

We loved everything about this place. The owner was caring and helped us with our trips and every little thing that we talked about. We had a nice room with a view to the garden where is a pool, relax zone and bikes which you can borrow. Lake Bohinj is just 5 minutes by car or you can use a bike. It's a beautiful peaceful place. I highly recommend it.

This is a breathtaking location - much more pleasant than the nearby town Bled. Here you can truly enjoy the authentic local atmosphere in peace. The only problem for non-locals are the narrow streets up the hills, however when you park the car you can reach any destitnation by foot. :) I would definitely come back.
Kati was a great host! She gave us a place to charge our bikes & tips on walks to take in the local area.

Perfect location and lovely hosts! The room was very sweet with a lot of Slovenian character and the balcony and a wonderful view of the mountains. The garden was also very beautiful and I really appreciated being able to use the kitchen. It’s perfect if you want to do lots of hiking as it’s super close to most of the trail starting points.
