Located in a former schoolhouse dating back about 100 years, Guesthouse Eleven is situated in the picturesque village of Jössefors. a converted school building, it was conveniently located on our route to Norway. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Featuring a spa bath, Gästezimmer in Yggenäs Ekshärad is set in Ekshärad. This homestay offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The owners were very open and friendly to us. In the evening, after our arrival, they offered us hot tea. We spent over an hour talking together. The conversation was very interesting as the owners moved to Sweden from another country and fell in love with this place. In the morning, a great breakfast with eggs from their own hens was waiting for us! The place and the people living there are very charming and we will certainly go back there when we have the opportunity.

Höga Backe Gästhus, a property with a garden, is located in Asphyttan, 14 km from Storfors Train Station, 40 km from Kristinehamn Train Station, as well as 43 km from The Nobelmuseum in Karlskoga. This place is so warm and cozy that it felt like home. Bed was very comfortable - I overslept and hit the road an hour later that I planned. The hosts are fantastic people who really care about guests - I hope to see You again!
