From the beautiful location to the people who welcomed us and made sure we enjoyed our short stay. The food was prepared with local ingredients using recipes specific to the area and everything was cooked with care and attention. Breakfast is also varied and the owners and staff ensure that all your needs are catered for. The care, attention to detail and cleanliness of the place is exemplary. The surrounding nature and scenery is truly breathtaking and allows you to reconnect with yourself and simply slow down from everyday activities for a few days. The tradition of the Lipov Russians has a special meaning here and once you've experienced it, you'll want to come back. I can't say enough good things about the owners of this place, warm and kind-hearted people who will try to cater to your wishes and needs. We have a Romanian saying that I think is very good to describe them, they are good people to put on the wound but also on the soul. People of great worth and kindness. It was a real pleasure to stay in this place where I hope to return as soon as possible.

Mrs Mocanu is looking for the best and plenty of food to be offered and creates a cosy atmosphere with great attention to details. Mr Mocanu has its own, silent, catamaran offering trips on the surrounding lakes and Danube channels.

Situated in Murighiol, Casa Soarelui has a shared lounge, garden, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The room and the whole yard is lovely decorated and well maintained and you can see there is so much love in it from the moment you step in. There is a private parking and shared area where you can prepare a food or chill in a yard. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. It is well positioned in the village, close to two markets and restaurants and close to the lake. But what we like to most is a hospitality of Carmen and Edi. They made sure we enjoy every moment and feel welcomed. The highlight of our two-weeks journey through Romania were boat trips with Edi to Sf. Gheorghe and a biosphere reserve with Caraorman forest.
