The staff, however, is absolutely the best: both Anne and Vítor were super considerate and helpful, our car broke down 5 minutes away on arrival and they both gave us rides on different days, Vítor even went around with us to several car shops trying to find us a fix. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms are super clean, modern and built with good taste, the owners are wonderful and loving persons that love animals, and the location is near everything we needed (beach, main street, restaurants, supermarkets). We will return here, for sure! Highly recommended!

The owner sent us the detailed instructions, with pictures, how to find the guesthouse and how to get in (with code), and it was very easy and helpful.Very clean and comfortable room, with beautiful design with good taste. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast (served in the beautiful garden) was also excellent. 👌

Located within 600 metres of Zambujeira do Mar Beach and 600 metres of Praia da Pedra da Bica, Breathe In provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Zambujeira do Mar. Great and super clean room, comfortable bed with soft sheets, a very friendly host and free biscuits... and all that for a very reasonable price. What else does a hiker need?

Situated in Porto Covo, Monte da Bemposta features a restaurant and sea views, 600 metres from Pessegueiro Island Beach and 1.8 km from Aivados Beach. The property is on a stunning location next to the ocean, with everything you could possibly need. Including a restaurant with fabulous staff and wonderful food. The animals in their enclosures around the property are so well taken care of and a joy to visit and photograph! We didn’t take advantage of the pool as December is a bit too cold for us, but it is beautiful and quite large. The paddle tennis courts also look to be in excellent condition and having rackets and balls to borrow is a huge plus.

Less than 1 km from Franquia Beach, Raminhos Guest House is set in Vila Nova de Milfontes and offers free WiFi, express check-in and check-out and concierge services. One of the nicest places I stayed along the Fisherman's Trail. Room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was super comfy! Catarina was a wonderful host - she speaks excellent English and did everything she could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. She gave me an excellent dinner recommendation (check out Patio Alentejano and order the octopus!) and informed me of the location of a supermarket nearby and a croissanteria for breakfast (it's called Paraiso Cafe). She was also knowledgeable about the hike itself, accurately informing me how long the next stage would take me (she was pretty spot on with the timing!). I also appreciated the heater in my room, and was able to wash a dry a couple of pairs of my socks during my overnight stay. Couldn't fault Catarina or the guesthouse itself.
