Leandro is very helpfull in providing information on activities or where to go/how to go there. He is a great host. Location at the edge of the Colca Canyon is good for hiing options. Close by to the Cruz del Condor. Although it can get chilly at night, we were not cold; the rooms must be well isolated. Also, the duvet is much appreciated (much more comfortable than the stack of blankets normally provided in Peru).

With mountain views, La Casa de la Abuela Isabel is situated in Yanque and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. We liked everything about our stay: communication with owners, breakfast, safety, bed, hot water, car parking.
