From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Richar and his family are super friendly and welcoming. he shows you around the island and will give you any information you need regarding the island and what to do! also the rooms are super comfortable,super clean, beautifully set up with decorations and flowers. all in all a very authentic stay which you will love!!

We spent a wonderful night in their home on Amantani island. Their home is very nice and has a superb view over Titikaka lake. Pilar is an amazing cook and we had a chance to taste her delicious dishes. José Luis and Pilar, thank you very much for the pleasant stay. We truly recommend their company during your stay on Amantani island.

Objekat Posada de Oliver, koji je smešten u gradu Llachon, u ponudi ima besplatan WiFi, a gostima su na raspolaganju vrt, terasa i bar. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. The room Is amazing really comfortable and the shower is great with hot water. Very nice after a long day at titikaka.

Located 350 metres from the city's main square, Hostal UTASA VILLA REAL inn offers accommodations in Puno. Free Wi-Fi access is available here. The room is cozy and not too cold (for Peruvian standards in winter). The host was incredibly kind, he helped us by keeping our backpacks all day long and with recommendations. Breakfast was also rich and tasty.
